Shanghai’s fatalities from Covid-19 have risen to a record 51 deaths amid a 76.4 per cent jump in the number of symptomatic cases. Symptomatic cases amounted to 2,472 in the previous 24 hours, compared with 1,401 a day earlier, according to data released on Monday.
